A private school with a 70-year history in the Outaouais will shut its doors in June after seeking creditor protection from the Quebec Superior Court.
Officials at Sedbergh School in Montebello say declining enrollment and finances are the two main reasons for the closure.
The English private school first opened to boys in 1939. Fifty years later, the school allowed girls into its classrooms. Currently, girls account for about 30 per cent of the school's total population.
