About 600 residents of the Upper Pontiac Valley spent the beginning of the new year without running water after a sewage blockage and water main burst Wednesday morning.
The mayor of Quyon, Que. says the community has rallied to help each other after the incident left homes and businesses without running water or flushing toilets for two days.
Crews say services should return to normal by Saturday morning at the latest.
