A Gatineau woman is desperate for answers after her husband disappeared two weeks ago.
41-year-old Yves Cyr has been missing since December 7th.
His wife, Anne Boudria, fights back tears as she describes their last day together.
“He gave me a kiss on the forehead and he said I love you, I’ll see you tonight, have a good day - Same routine,” Boudria said.
Cyr was last seen leaving work on Industrial Rd. in Gatineau around 3:15p.m. that day.
On Dec. 8, Cyr’s 2008 red Ford truck was found in a McDonald’s parking lot on the corner of St. Louis and Maloney Blvd. in Gatineau.
Boudria does not believe Cyr would have driven to the McDonalds on Meloney Blvd. She said it’s not part of his regular route home and out of his way.
“He just vanished without a trace and somebody has got to have seen something somewhere," Boudria said. "So I don’t know what’s going on, he’s not into drugs, he’s not into alcohol."
Boudria said security footage shows the truck pulling into McDonalds around 10p.m. that night, but it is unclear who is driving.
Gatineau police are investigating.
“We want to know between 3:15 p.m. and 11p.m. what is the timeline in Mr. Cyr’s day on December 7th,” said Const. J-P Lemay.
Police are calling the disappearance a mystery.
“His way of life was in total contradiction with his disappearance,” said Const. Lemay. “There were no reasons to believe that Mr. Cyr could be missing like he is right now.”
Boudria said Cyr loved his family, working on their home, and travelling. She said they had a vacation planned in February 2016.
Cyr is described as Caucasian, about 5-foot-6 and weighs about 220 lbs with blue eyes, brown hair.
