Four teenagers are charged with swarming after a man was attacked while he walked along Montreal Road.

Police say the attack happened when the man was confronted by one girl and three boys who popped out of a vehicle near Montreal and Ogilvie Roads at about 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said two of the suspects were armed with batons. They demanded the man empty his pockets.

Although a struggle ensued, police said the victim was not injured during the incident. He was also able to write down the vehicle's licence plate number.

The suspects, who range in age from 15-18 years old, were arrested a short distance away.

Jamie Boudreau, 18, and three boys, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are facing several charges, including assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.
