A Kingston man accused of concealing four marijuana-laden eggs inside his body was charged Friday with possession for the purposes of trafficking.

The accused 21-year-old had been in court Tuesday being sentenced on another charge, and was confronted by police on a tip that he might have drugs with him.

Once police arrived at the courthouse on 279 Wellington Street in Kingston, they say they found a "small baggie" in his shoe that had some sort of white powder inside.

He was arrested immediately on the belief that it was cocaine, and brought to the police station on Division Street -- where he allegedly next showed police four plastic eggs that he hid inside his body.

Three eggs contained marijuana, while the fourth had marijuana and "a quantity of pills", police said.

The unnamed man faces five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
