The Ottawa Police Arson Unit is investigating after a play structure at Le Phare Elementary School was burned to the ground.
Emergency crews were called to the school in Gloucester just before 6 a.m. Thursday after a custodian arrived at the school to find what was left of the structure smoldering.
By noon on Wednesday a crew had arrived to cart away the charred rubble left behind.
The Ottawa Police Arson Unit is investigating and anyone with information is asked to contact them at 613-236-1222 ext. 3770 or ext. 3771.
