Crash involving bicycle in Centretown seriously injures man

The Ottawa Paramedic Service says an adult male was taken to hospital following a collision between a vehicle and a bicycle Thursday afternoon in Centretown.

Paramedics say the man on the bicycle was transported to hospital in serious but stable condition.

It happened at 3:15 p.m. at Gladstone Avenue and O’Connor Street.

Following the collision, Gladstone Avenue was closed between Bank and Metcalf streets, and O'Connor Street was closed between Frank Street and Gladstone Avenue.

All roads have since re-opened.
