OTTAWA - A power-play goal with less than five minutes to play in the third period from Steven Janes stood as the game winner as the Ottawa 67's defeated the visiting Oshawa Generals 3-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Shane Prince and Sean Monahan also scored for the 67's (32-12-5).

Christian Thomas and Nicklas Jensen had goals for the Generals (22-23-5) while Scott Laughton chipped in with two assists.

Petr Mrazek earned the win, and the game's first star, by making 34 saves as Kevin Bailie turned aside 34 shots in defeat.

Ottawa went 1 for 5 on the power play while Oshawa went 1 for 7.
