The Ottawa REDBLACKS kept the Toronto Argos playoff hopes alive handing the Argos a 23-5 victory.

Once again the REDBLACKS offence sputtered as both Henry Burris and Danny O’Brien shared quarterback duties.

The Argos countered with Trevor Harris making his first career start tonight as Ricky Ray recovers from a concussion.

The Toronto Argos wasted little time to open the scoring with 2 touchdown passes in the first quarter. The 2nd touchdown came courtesy of an Ottawa turnover that resulted in a Chad Owens touchdown.  The Argos led 14-0 after the first quarter.

The Argos added 2 field goals in the 2nd quarter for a 20-0 lead at the half

The only offence the REDBLACKS got was 2 singles and a field goal from Brett Maher.

The Argos win 23-5 keeping their playoff hopes alive. A Hamilton this weekend will end the Argos chance at the post season.

The REDBLACKS finish their season with a 2-16 record. They were 0-9 on the road. The REDBLACKS will clean out their lockers Sunday.
