Ottawa Police are investigating reports of two sexual assaults in less than 12 hours.

The first incident reportedly happened around 10 pm on Thursday, May 5. Police say the sexual assault took place in the 300 block of Besserer Street in Sandy Hill.

According to police, a woman in her early twenties was walking on Besserer Street when she was allegedly grabbed by an unknown male and pulled into a secluded area. Police say a man and a woman out walking their dog at the time were alerted to the incident. The suspect fled on foot when the couple approached the area.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian, 20-30 years of age, 5'10, with a slim build, and dark medium length curly hair. He was wearing a hat, dark baggy pants  and a black sweater.

Police say the second incident happened between 1 am and 3 am on Friday, May 6 near the 2800 block of Baycrest Drive in Ottawa's south end. Police say an unidentified man approached a female in her late teens and proceeded to pull her into a vehicle. Police say the teenager was driven to multiple locations in the Johnston and Conroy Road where she was sexually assaulted.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern male, 30-40 years of age who had a long nose and drove a dark colored BMW.
