As a little girl, Dianne Michaelsen loved to cut out and dress paper dolls. She explored her creativity, as an adult, experimenting with painting until she connected with paper sculpture, also known as paper tole. Diane has completed over one hundred paper sculpture pieces, based on the paintings of Dutch artist Anton Pieck. Now she's working on a series, based on her own photographs, that pays tribute to her husband's hometown of Lubeck, Germany.
