An Ottawa man got to show off his dance moves at the 2015 U.S. Open on the court with tennis pro Novak Djokovic.

Cameron Hughes, a self-proclaimed dance maniac and sports entertainer, was waved onto the court following Djokovic's win at the U.S. Open Wednesday night over Andreas Haider-Maurer.

"I'm still stretching from those moves, trying to keep up with him," Hughes told CTV Morning Live Ottawa on Wednesday morning.

"I jump over the barriers and security was all over me and then they waved me through."

The dance-off ended when Hughes put an " I love NY"  t-shirt on Djokovic, then ripped off his own shirt to reveal a matching "I love NY" shirt underneath.

So what was said after the epic dance-off? Hughes says that's a secret that will forever remain between him and Djokovic.

"You''ll have to read the book for that."

But this isn't the first time the two have met. Hughes, who lives in Ottawa, taught Djokovic a few dances moves during the 2011 U.S. Open. Yes, he was wearing the same "I love NY" t-shirt.

Hughes has spent much of his adult life entertaining crowds at major sporting events, using his dance moves to get the crowd going.

"My guidance councilor in Ottawa is probably proud of me, finally," Hughes says.
