An Air Canada Jazz flight with 73 people on board made an emergency landing at the Ottawa Airport on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014.
The crew of Air Canada Jazz Flight 953 made the emergency call after experiencing smoke in the cabin.
The Dash 8 was on a flight from Fredericton to Toronto when it diverted to Ottawa for the emergency landing.
The aircraft landed safely around 6:00 a.m on Wednesday. The passengers and crew evacuated the airplane.
Emergency vehicles met the aircraft on the runway and crews determined there was no fire on board.
Officials at the Ottawa Airport say there were no injuries and that the incident was cleared a short time later.
