Ottawa Police are investigating after a man admitted himself into hospital with gunshot wounds on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014.

The victim who is in his 30s, told police he was walking near Lebreton Flats, when two unknown men approached him and demanded his personal property. When he refused, there was a struggle and he was shot twice.

The victim’s injuries are not life threatening.

The Guns and Gangs unit is leading the investigation.
