The Ontario government has announced 47 million dollars in funding to build a new public elementary school in Kanata.
The money will also be used to renovate four other public schools.
Schools to be renovated are Mutchmor Elementary in the Glebe, Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary in Barrhaven, Earl of March Secondary in Kanata and South March Public School.
The announcement was made Monday by Ottawa Centre Liberal MPP Yasir Naqvi.
