Fire crews were called to an early morning fire at a home on Robert Street in Ottawa’s Golden Triangle neighbourhood.
The fire was initially called in by an alarm monitoring company around 1:30 Tuesday morning. A few minutes later, the homeowner reported smoke coming from the basement.
when firefighters arrived, smoke was pouring out of the front door.
The fire has been contained but crews remain on scene.
The cause of the fire & damage estimates are under investigation.
