City committee approves $60M to expand O-Train service

The city's transit committee has approved a $60-million plan that includes buying six new O-Trains.

The additional trains will increase service to eight-minute intervals instead of the current 15-minute schedule. O-Train stations will be upgraded as well.

The city will also consider expanding the O-Train line to Leitrim Road.
