A highway 417 on-ramp that was in danger of closing may not be shut down after all.
Infrastructure minister Bob Chiarelli says he has heard complaints from constituents about the province's proposal to close the ramp that connects Carling Avenue with the eastbound Queensway.
Chiarelli says he would like to work with nearby Westgate Shopping Centre to try to keep the ramp open.
