Emergency crews are cleaning up after a kitchen fire in central Ottawa Saturday afternoon.
Ottawa fire crews said they were called to 827 Gladstone Avenue just after 3 p.m. Saturday.
They said three people will be displaced after the fire in one of the two-storey building’s units, but the fire was under control about 15 minutes after the call.
Ottawa paramedics are treating two people at the scene for smoke inhalation, according to fire crews.
Police closed Gladstone Avenue both ways between Rochester Street and Booth Street while they investigated, but it was re-opened around 4:45 p.m.
There is no word on the cause and no damage estimate just yet.
