Road closures at Riverside Drive and a section of the OC Transpo transitway near Hurdman station have been lifted following the investigation of a suspicious package.
Police say Riverside Drive between Industrial and Smyth roads was blocked off just before the noon hour Wednesday while police investigated the suspicious package.
The Ottawa police tactical team and Ottawa fire and paramedic services were all on site for the investigation.
Police say the package ended up being non-hazardous.
