SOUTH GLENGARRY, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police say a pilot suffered "minimal injuries" when his small plane crashed in a field east of Cornwall.
Police say the 54-year-old Ottawa man was the lone occupant of the aircraft.
Investigators say the small fixed wing airplane was approaching Cornwall Regional Airport on Thursday morning when a malfunction occurred.
Police say the plane flipped when the pilot attempted to land in a field east of the airport in South Glengarry.
