Pedestrian struck by vehicle in critical condition

A 27-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Bank Street and Heron Road.

Paramedics treated the man for life-threatening head injuries and a fractured leg.

The man was transported to hospital unconscious and in critical condition.

Intersection of Bank and Heron rd. is now re-opened.
