OTTAWA - Ottawa 67's Dalton Smith and Bret Gustavsen both scored in the shootout giving their team a 6-5 victory over the Saginaw Spirit Friday night in Ontario Hockey League action.
Michael Cajkovsky, Tyler Toffoli, Shane Prince, Jake Cardwell and Gustavsen all scored in regulation time for the 67's (12-5-2).
John McFarland was the Spirit's (7-11-1) offence, scoring four goals and an assist. Garret Ross added the other Saginaw goal.
Petr Mrazek stopped 31 shots for the win while Jake Paterson made 49 saves in defeat.
Both teams scored once on the power play.
