Ottawa police seek help identifying sexual assault suspect

Ottawa police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman he met online.
Police said the woman agreed to meet the man early Tuesday at an unspecified hotel in west Ottawa. Once they met at the hotel, the man sexually assaulted her.
Police believe he could be targeting sex trade workers.
The man is described as white, with short red hair and around 6-feet tall (183 cm). He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5944.
