Ottawa police investigating gunshots heard in the Glebe

The Ottawa Police Service is investigating after apparent gunshots were heard in the Glebe on Tuesday morning.

Police said in a social media post they received multiple calls for gunshots heard in the area of Percy Street and Clemow Avenue at approximately 8:20 a.m.

Officers attended the area but no victims were found. No victims have attended any Ottawa-area hospitals, police say.

There is no known threat to public safety.

Anyone aware of someone being injured in the incident is asked to call 911.
