Ottawa police confirmed Tuesday evening they  made an arrest in a possible abduction case.  The announcement came hours after  an urgent request for help from the public.  Police had been  looking for a black 2000 BMW 328i with license plate BTAN 435.  They  indicated  the driver may have been  20 year old Andrew Bettencourt.  It was suspected  an 18 year old  female passenger may have been in the vehicle.  She was identified as Harmony Nhin.  Police said after the arrest, the woman involved was doing okay.
