A violent home invasion near Cornwall has sent a man to hospital with serious injuries.
Akwesasne Mohawk Police responded to a call at a home inside the Quebec border early Friday.
There they found a 25-year-old man so badly injured, he had to be transported to Ottawa Hospital.
Witnesses to the incident told police five men entered the residence, and when the male resident tried to leave he was attacked.
The five suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.
