A Gatineau police officer is nursing a broken leg after a mishap during a call Friday morning.
Gatineau police said they got a call reporting domestic violence at 13 rue Lambert around 10:44 a.m., which said a man allegedly made death threats against his wife and neighbours.
When they arrived they said the man resisted arrest, and during the process of trying to get him under control a number of officers fell onto another and broke his leg.
That officer was taken to hospital in Hull for treatment.
Police said the suspect is a 28-year-old man that is known to them.
He is charged with assault, uttering threats, breaching his probation and obstructing justice.
