A Belleville man who worked as a counsellor at a crisis centre in the Quinte region has been charged with sexual assault following an investigation into two separate allegations.
Ontario Provincial Police say Brian MacDonald Leckie, 62, was a counsellor at the Crisis Intervention Centre with Quinte Health Care at the time of the alleged assaults, which occurred in Bancroft between March and May 2008.
Police say both of the complaints were filed by female clients in their 20s.
Leckie was arrested and released on conditions on June 26.
He's scheduled to appear in Bancroft court July 29.
