The Madawaska Highlands Observatory Corporation says it plans to build the most powerful telescope in Canada in the Madawaska Highlands.
The company says the wide-field telescope is designed to discover exo-planets and is expected to discover hundreds over the course of its lifetime.
The company says the facility will host two professional observatories including the wide-field telescope.
The company is also offering sponsorships to all the key components at the facility 90 minutes west of Ottawa, including the telescopes.
