Armed robbers hit west-end convenience store

Two men armed with a gun robbed a west-end convenience store early Saturday morning.

The suspects took cash and cigarettes from Food Frenz at 2910 Carling Ave. at about 4 a.m.

They were both described as black males wearing black jackets. One was five foot six, the other five foot eight.

The same store was robbed by a gang of armed teenagers on Feb. 7, and a clerk fought off a robber in late September.
