Mayor Jim Watson will meet with police executives and the union this morning to discuss internal issues at Ottawa police headquarters.
Watson has invited police chief Charles Bordeleau, Police services board chair Eli El-Chantiry and Ottawa police association president Matt Skof to a private meeting.
The goal is to establish a better dialogue between police and the union.
The police association has said some of its members have lost confidence in the chief.
