Here is a look at what’s open and closed in Ottawa on Colonel By Day

City of Ottawa services:

OC Transpo will operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday. Extra service will be added to routes 8, 94, 95 and 105. Visit octranspo.com for information on transit schedules.

Ottawa City Hall and all seven Client Service Centres will be closed on Monday.

The City’s Provincial Offences Court at 100 Constellation Crescent will be closed.

There will be no curbside green bin, recycling and garbage collection on Colonel By Day. Pick-up will be delayed by one day all week.

Ottawa Public Library branches will be closed on Monday.

All municipal child care centres will be closed on Monday.

All City of Ottawa beaches, splash pads and some wading pools will be open, weather permitting.

Shopping:

Place d’Orleans, St. Laurent Centre, Rideau Shopping Centre, Carlingwood Shopping Centre and Bayshore Shopping Centre will be open on Monday. The Tanger Outlets will also be open.

The LCBO says 460 locations across Ontario will be open on the holiday Monday.

Grocery stores will be open on Monday.
