Ottawa Police have cancelled an Amber Alert for a one-year-old child after she was found safely.
They said the girl had been found in the Gatineau area Monday afternoon and returned to her mother.
A man has been taken into custody.
The alert had been issued only minutes before, with reports she may have been abducted and headed to Montreal.
