A man was sent to hospital after he was stabbed multiple times on a bike path in Ottawa's west-end Sunday evening.
Ottawa Police and paramedics were called to the Watts Creek Pathway in the area of Holly Acres Road and Aero Drive area by someone who discovered the man.
Paramedics say a 29-year-old was stabbed and slashed several times.
The victim was sent to hospital in serious, but stable condition.
There's no word yet on whether this was a random stabbing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ottawa Police.
