Canadian Bio Pellet, a wood energy company, plans to open Canada's largest pellet manufacturing facility in Ingleside, near Cornwall.
About 110 new jobs are expected from the announcement, along with construction work.
The wood pellets produced at the facility will be made from compacted wood fibre, and is considered a green energy-producing solution. About 400,000 tonnes of pellets will be produced annually.
Canadian Bio Pellet Inc. was formed two years ago to supply demand for alternative energy.
