A 49-year-old woman was taken to hospital after a lightning strike.
Ottawa Paramedics say the woman was jogging on a path near Eagleson Road and Hope Side Road Thursday evening when lightning struck nearby and threw her to the ground.
She suffered minor cuts and bruises to her hands, knees and face.
