OTTAWA - Thomas Nesbitt and Tyler Toffoli both had two goals Friday night as the Ottawa 67's were 6-1 winners over the Brampton Battalion in Ontario Hockey League action.
Travis Gibbons and Dalton Smith also scored for the 67's, who got a pair of assists each from Cody Lindsay and Marc Zanetti along with a 36-save performance from Petr Mrazek.
Scott Tanski was the lone scorer for Brampton while Cody St. Jacques made 16 saves.
"I like facing a lot of shots. It keeps me in the game and my team scored early which makes it easier," said Mrazek, who had his shutout broken by Tanski early in the third period.
"We got some early confidence and it showed with the goals," Nesbitt said.
"We would have liked to get the shutout for Petr but overall we're happy with our games."
The win gives the 67's points in eight-straight games. Ottawa has just one shootout loss over that stretch. The Battalion have now lost two in a row.
The 67's went 3-for-9 on the power play while the Battalion was 0-for-2.
