The annual Sens Fan Fest is a sure sign that hockey season is just around the corner.
Sunday, thousands of fans made their way to the Canadian Tire Centre to meet some of the players, watch an intra-squad game and team practice, and enjoy the outdoor activities like the Kids Zone play area.
“I love the team, it’s a very passionate team, I think they care a lot about the city,” said fan, Zack Melanson
Inside fans were invited to watch the players take on each other in a Red vs. White game. It was during this game that forward Clarke MacArthur sustained a concussion after taking a hit from defenceman Patrick Sieloff.
“We’re thinking about him, we’re thinking about his family, and we’re hoping that it comes around. That’s all that we’re able to do right now,” said defenceman, Dion Phaneuf, speaking after the game.
