Slippery roads, airport delays and stuck OC Transpo buses are making for a messy commute home in Ottawa.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.
As of 4pm, Ottawa Police say they responded to more than 60 collisions since the snow began falling this morning.
Police are advising motorists to stay away from the Bank Street and Riverdale Road area because five OC Transpo buses have been disabled by the snow.
Hawthorne Road has been closed between Leitrim Road and Louiseize Road because of fallen power lines.
The City of Ottawa has issued an overnight parking ban.
CTV's JJ Clarke says the system is slow moving.
"Ottawa will receive another 10-15 cm of into tonight, heavy at times, and tapering to light snow overnight,' explained Clarke.
The Ottawa Airport is reporting numerous delays and cancellations.
