A Perth poker player is set to be one of nine people competing for the top prize at one of the richest tournaments in the world.
Scott Montgomery, who's made it to the final table at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, will be competing for his chance to win $9 million this fall.
Even if he's eliminated early, Montgomery is guaranteed $900,000 in winnings.
This isn't his first time competing for a hefty cash prize. Montgomery took home $300,000 after playing in a recent poker tournament in Los Angeles.
