STIRLING, Ont. - Provincial police say additional charges have been laid against a Belleville-area man in connection with alleged sexual assaults involving a dozen women.
Nicholas Czaikowsky, 42, of Stirling, Ont., was charged last month with two counts of aggravated sexual assault following an investigation into alleged incidents involving two female victims.
Police say charges relating to 10 additional victims were laid on Tuesday.
Czaikowsky now faces 11 counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of sexual assault, along with two charges of failing to comply with direction in a detention order.
Investigators say the accused is known to communicate on Internet dating sites and often travels to both the Barrie and Sudbury areas.
Police say any woman who has been in his company is strongly encouraged to contact the Central Hastings OPP detachment.
