BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Luke Judson had three goals and two assists Wednesday night as the Belleville Bulls defeated the Peterborough Petes 6-5 in Ontario Hockey League action.

Joseph Cramarossa, Daniil Zharkov and Jordan Mayer also scored while Malcolm Subban made 32 saves for the Bulls (32-30-1).

Andrew Yogan and Nick Ritchie each had two goals for Peterborough (26-31-7), while Lino Martschini also scored.

Judson and Yogan went back and forth in the opening frame, with both players getting two goals each to set the pace.

Cramarossa gave Belleville a 3-2 lead 30 seconds into the second period, but the Petes drew even with Ritchie's goal that came on a two-man break.

Judson completed his hat trick to put Belleville up 4-3, but Ritchie got his second of the game in the final minute of the second period to tie it up at 4-4.

The back-and-forth battle continued in the third. Martschini scored to give the Petes the lead but Belleville came roaring back with a power play marker by Zharkov. Mayer capped the scoring to give the Bulls the win.

Mike Morrison made 34 saves for the Petes, who failed to gain ground in the playoff race and sit four points out of eighth place in the Eastern Conference.
