A 27-year-old Gatineau man died in hospital Saturday after being found with massive injuries inside a Hull apartment building.
Police were called to 44 Rue Georges-Bilodeau at 2:20 a.m. after reports of a fight. The victim was on the floor but alive at the time.
A 26-year-old Gatineau man is in custody, according to police, who remained at the scene Saturday afternoon gathering evidence. Three other people were also initially taken into custody, but are being considered witnesses.
An autopsy is scheduled for the victim, whose name has not been released.
