A 78-year-old Marmora man has died of his injuries following a fatal collision on County Road 10 in Lanark County last week.

Ontario provincial police say John Langley suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. He died in Kingston Hospital on Thursday.

His wife Pamela, 77, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say they believe the SUV the couple was travelling in failed to negotiate a curve as it headed westbound, causing the vehicle to leave the road and strike a hydro pole on March 22.

Police say there were no witnesses to the crash, which was discovered by a passing motorist.
