Firefighters were called to 504 Gladstone avenue just after 6 o'clock Wednesday evening.  Five units of a multi-unit building were affected by a fire that started on the ground floor.  Four people are out of their homes after hydro and gas were turned off to the building, which houses businesses on the ground floor and apartments upstairs.  Firefighters have not yet established a cause, but say damages are pegged at 200 thousand dollars.  Roads in the area were closed briefly, but have since reopened.
