CORNWALL, Ont. -- Firefighters remain at the scene of an early morning fire that forced eight people from a hotel in Cornwall, southeast of Ottawa.
Fire officials say the blaze broke out around 4:30 a.m. today at the Sunset Motel in the city's west end.
The hotel's owners say the fire began in one room and quickly spread to another.
It was not immediately known what caused the fire.
