Driver seriously injured in Hwy. 15 rollover

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash on Highway 15 that sent a driver to hospital on Sunday morning.

Police say they were called just after 9 a.m. after receiving reports of a car in a ditch just south of Bush Road, about 125 kilometres southwest of Ottawa.

The 63-year-old driver from Carleton Place was taken to hospital with serious injuries. A 26-year-old passenger, also from Carleton Place, was assessed on scene for minor injuries, according to OPP.

The cause of crash is still under investigation.

Highway 15 was closed between Bush Road and Jones Falls Road for several hours.

The roads have since reopened.
