Both of Ottawa’s universities have a chance for an Ontario title on Sunday, already having earned beths in the national championships.

The top-ranked University of Ottawa Geegees women beat McMaster 1-0 at home Saturday, the lone goal coming from midfielder Krista Draycott in the 68th minute.

They’ll host Laurier for the championship at 2 p.m. Sunday, already having clinched a spot in the national championship tournament in Victoria.

Carleton Ravens midfielder Joey Kewin waited 115 minutes to score the only goal in their extra-time semi-final against the host York Lions on Saturday.

Carleton's men play McMaster in Toronto for the title, also at 2 p.m. Sunday. Both teams have already clinched a berth at the Canadian championship next week in Quebec City.
