A report from Algonquin College administration says the school may have to cut more than 25 programs next fall.

The report also says dozens of other programs may be scaled back or merged, part of a project that plans to add around 50 new smaller programs like environmental technology and cardio technology.

The college says no layoffs are in the works, though it also says it's struggling financially because provincially funding has not kept up with demand.

The computer science, electronics and design programs are most likely to be trimmed.
